I love Jesus, my husband Simon and my son Jonny! This is my space (not MySpace haha) to get some thoughts about faith, life and the world!
I currently live in Adelaide, South Australia and I am a self-confessed coffee snob!
My husband is a Salvation Army Officer (Pastor). We met while working together, he hired me (awkward... :D) But to date, I am not an Officer, which is actually quite unusual for anyone unfamiliar with The Salvation Army. I do however work in ministry with him, he is the Divisional Youth Secretary and I am the Divisional Children's Ministry and Social Justice Coordinator for South Australia (and soon to be Northern Territory).
We currently live in Felixstow but I grew up in the northern suburbs of Adelaide in Elizabeth and I have a special place in my heart for the ghetto, I'm still NayNay from the block ;)
I am also Mummy to Jonathan (Jonny). Motherhood has been quite a crazy time for me so while we hope to add to our brood eventually this high-spirited two year old is more than enough for us right now!
In addition to all this I have a Bachelor of Communications and a Master of Community Planning and Development. I have worked in politics and media and housing and retail and food service. But I really love to write.
